OUR HISTORY
Pastora Custom Furniture was established by German Pastora Zeledon in 1988 ( Winnipeg, MB). German, originally from Nicaragua, began working with wood at the age of eleven and ran a successful furniture business prior to migrating to Canada.
In 1990, German began teaching his son, German Isaac the art of wood working and the father and son duo have been working together ever since. The pair have left quite a mark throughout the province of Manitoba and beyond. Most notable includes the front desk at the Legislative building of Manitoba, the wood carvings ( moldings, doors, etc) involved in the renovations of the Fort Gary Hotel Ballroom, a hand-carving wall piece of the bull and bear for Nesbitt Burns, an archbishop’s coat of arms, and the list goes on. Their work can also be found in numerous offices, churches and private homes.
Pastora Custom Furniture is a company that is passionate about it’s art and enjoys working with customers to create their dream pieces.
We believe in creating heirlooms for many generations to enjoy!
